The objectives of the District 2 Presidents' Council (D2PC) are to provide support and resources to constituent Parent Associations and Parent-Teacher Associations (PA/PTAs) in District 2. We also support District 2 goals and initiatives leading to improved student achievement; develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement; foster and encourage parent participation on all levels; and provide opportunities and training for parents to participate in
school governance and decision-making.

District Leadership Team
District Leadership Teams review Comprehensive Educational Plans for schools in their districts and develop district-wide plans.
They also provide guidance and assistance to School Leadership Teams.
District Leadership Team representatives are chosen by their respective leadership groups.
The Presidents of the District 2 Presidents’ Council and the Manhattan High School Presidents' Council
are automatically members of their DLT.
